Before your session

  • What’s the best way to schedule a massage?

It’s easiest to schedule your massage online or you may contact me.

  • What are your hours?

Sessions are by appointment only.  Daytime & evening appointments are available. Appointments often fill quickly.  You may schedule up to 60 days in advance via online scheduling.

How should I prepare for a massage?

Please shower before your session and consider wearing loose clothing that can easily be removed.


During your session

  • What can I expect from my first massage?

You will fill out a health history form (downloadable at the bottom of this page) and we will discuss areas of concern that you would like me to focus on. You will then disrobe in private and cover yourself with a sheet and blanket. After your massage I will step out and give you some time to relax and get dressed.  Lastly, we will discuss your session so that I can gather feedback and then collect your payment (cash or credit cards accepted).

  • How much clothing do I need to take off?

Some clients do not wear any clothing during a massage, but this is completely up to you. I want you to be comfortable. Your body will remain covered and I will uncover only that body part being massaged, respecting your modesty at all times. 

About your work

  • Do you offer out call appointments?

I am unable to accommodate out call requests. All massages take place in my office - in a safe and secure professional building.

  • Do you offer couples massage?

As the only massage therapist in my practice, I am unable to offer couples massages, however I do have many couples that schedule back-to-back appointments.  Mass Avenue is steps from my studio.  You can grab a cup of coffee or peruse many great shops while you are waiting.

  • Do you bill insurance?

While I do not bill insurance I can accept HSA & FSA cards that many people now have set up via their employer.  I can also provide documentation that you can submit to your insurance provider.


  • What if I am late to my appointment?

Late arrivals can only be extended to the time remaining in the scheduled session and will be charged the full amount of the originally scheduled appointment time.

  • What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Kindly provide 24 hours of notice for cancellations.  With less notice you are subject to full payment (or forfeiture of a gift certificate) for your massage.  "No Show" appointments will require a credit card payment in advance to secure a future appointments.
